1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR Surgical Services position requiring 2 years of hospital experience and BLS certification. Details Hospital OR Surgical Services unit with 7 OR suites Team includes RNs, CSTs, CST/FAs, and orderlies Handles a wide variety of surgical specialties including Ortho, General, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Neuro, Robotics, Podiatry, and Dental Uses Meditech EMR Variable shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Rotating weekends and call required Working holidays required No floating required Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital OR setting NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted) State licensure required if applicable General knowledge and skill set to scrub most surgical specialties Orthopedic (Totals & Trauma), Neurosurgery, and General Surgery Robotics experience preferred US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Scrub most surgical specialties performed on the unit with a friendly, professional, and self-motivated approach Hospital-supplied scrubs provided per dress code First-time travelers may be considered Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
