Our facility provides services to adult and pediatric patients. Specialties include GI/Endoscopy, podiatry, ENT, and pain management. We are seeking a Full-Time Certified Surgical Technologist / Endoscopy Tech to join our team! The primary role of this position includes functioning as both a surgical tech and GI/endoscopy tech, as determined by the operating schedule. This position includes duties such as: Assisting physicians during GI/endoscopy and surgical procedures, under the direct supervision of the physician and registered nurse Effectively setup, breakdown, and turnover procedure and operating rooms Efficiently maintain supply stock in rooms, ensure instruments/supplies are available as needed, and maintain responsibility for managing inventory for the ASC Effectively oversee the care and maintenance of endoscopy equipment and other patient care equipment Promotes safety of patients, co-workers and self through practice of standard precautions Assist in the cleaning, disinfection and reprocessing of endoscopes and accessory equipment Performance of other duties, as assigned Ideal candidate should possess the following qualities: Punctual and reliable Organized, detail-orientated and proactive Effective communication skills Flexibility Good team player Commitment to providing excellent patient service and professionalism Computer skills (experience with ProVation a plus)
