Every day you will prepare the OR (instruments, equipment, supplies) and assist surgeons/nurses by anticipating needs, passing instruments, and maintaining the sterile field. You'll count items, handle specimens, assist with patient positioning, and adhere strictly to aseptic technique. To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong sterile technique knowledge, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and a steadfast commitment to patient safety are essential. Job Requirements Required One (1) year recent full-time experience in an acute care facility as a certified surgical technologist. May consider any experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center where procedures are performed that have the same acuity level or level of complexity as an acute care facility. Graduate from high school or equivalent program. Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program to include certification.
