13 Weeks Shift type: Afternoons 12:30pm-11pm Guaranteed hours: 40 hours Duties Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques and infection prevention protocols. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, suturing wounds, and managing surgical equipment with precision and efficiency. Monitor vital signs and patient physiology throughout surgeries to ensure stability and respond promptly to any changes. Support preoperative and postoperative patient care by collecting data such as medical history, current condition, and relevant laboratory results. Maintain accurate documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical records, ensuring completeness and confidentiality. Assist with the handling of complex surgeries including trauma care, cardiovascular surgery assistance, neurosurgery support, orthopedic procedures such as fracture treatment, and pediatric surgeries. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively while adhering to hospital policies on infection control and equipment sterilization. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives related to surgical procedures, sterile technique adherence, and healthcare infection prevention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiologists, nurses, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in ongoing training related to advanced surgical techniques such as endoscopy or minimally invasive procedures. Qualifications 1 year of experience
