Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technician to join our dynamic surgical team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures across various specialties, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and procedural efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, assisting surgeons and healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and medical equipment operation, contributing to successful outcomes in diverse surgical settings. Duties Prepare and maintain the operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures. Set up sterile surgical fields and arrange instruments, supplies, and equipment according to procedure requirements. Assist surgeons and registered nurses by providing appropriate instruments, sutures, and supplies during procedures. Maintain strict sterile technique and follow infection prevention and control standards. Perform surgical counts of instruments, needles, sponges, and other supplies before, during, and after procedures. Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team efficiently and safely.
