General Surgery Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join the surgical team in Bellefontaine, Ohio . This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension , working a consistent day-shift schedule of three 10-hour shifts per week. The ideal candidate will have strong operating room experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures. Assist the surgical team before, during, and after procedures. Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment. Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team. Maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control and safety protocols. Assist with surgical counts and ensure accurate documentation. Handle surgical instruments and equipment according to established procedures. Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to support safe and efficient patient care. Requirements 2+ years of Surgical Technologist experience NBSTSA certification required BLS certification required
