Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain operating rooms before, during, and after surgeries Set up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment according to procedure requirements Assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments and supplies as requested Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures and actively monitor for potential breaches Process specimens and handle surgical instruments post-operation Comply with facility policies and regulatory requirements regarding patient safety, documentation, and infection control Assist in the cleaning and restocking of the operating rooms for subsequent cases
