Nights Responsibilities & Requirements:

The Monitor Tech supports patient safety and care outcomes by continuously observing and interpreting cardiac rhythms, promptly identifying and reporting abnormalities to licensed staff. This role ensures accurate documentation and effective communication within the healthcare team, contributing to operational reliability and regulatory compliance. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

High school diploma or equivalent.

No specific experience required; on-the-job training provided.

None required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of an EKG or cardiac monitoring course. Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in cardiac monitoring or telemetry. EKG certification or successful completion of a recognized arrhythmia interpretation course. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
