Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (ORT) Demonstrated experience in orthopedic surgery; total joint replacement experience is highly preferred Strong understanding of sterile field maintenance and surgical instrumentation Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and protocols Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons before, during, and after orthopedic procedures—especially total joint replacements Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies for orthopedic surgery cases Maintain strict adherence to sterile processes to ensure patient safety Support the surgical team as needed, demonstrating adaptability during emergency or on-call situations Document procedures accurately and participate in quality improvement initiatives
