Key Qualifications:

Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent CVOR credentialing Minimum of one year of recent experience as a CVOR Tech in an acute care or hospital setting Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven competence in assisting with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures Exceptional teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities Ability to quickly adapt to new OR environments and protocols

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the sterile surgical field for cardiovascular procedures Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia personnel as a core part of the cardiac surgical team Safely handle surgical instruments and equipment Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are strictly maintained Provide support in pre, intra, and post-operative phases as assigned
