•1890/week Job Summary Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to provide technical support for pediatric surgical procedures. Responsibilities include scrubbing and/or first assisting , preparing instruments and equipment, assisting with case setup, and collaborating closely with the surgical team under the supervision of an RN or physician. Key Responsibilities Scrub and/or first assist during pediatric surgical procedures. Prepare case carts, instruments, supplies, and equipment for scheduled cases. Maintain surgical instrumentation and ensure all necessary equipment is available. Assist the RN with operating room preparation and patient care activities. Review and update surgeon preference cards following procedures. Document unusual occurrences, sterilization activities, and required OR documentation. Operate specialized equipment, including lasers, after appropriate training. Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered surgical environment. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia, and other OR staff. Participate in quality improvement activities, mandatory training, and departmental requirements. Meet all required on-call responsibilities . Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program . Current BLS certification

•AHA recognized .

Current certification as either:

CST

•NBSTSA , or Tech in Surgery

•Certified (TS-C)

•

NCCT . PALS

required. Preferred Pediatric OR experience. First-assist experience. Experience with surgical lasers.
