Inova Alexandria Hospital Operating Room is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist 3 to join the team. This role will be
Full-time Day Shift:

Job Responsibilities:
Recognizes safety hazards and initiates appropriate preventative and corrective actions. Anticipates the need for unscheduled procedures or unanticipated turn of events during a surgical procedure. Demonstrates superior knowledge in stressful and emergency situations. Assists with the flow of the daily operating room schedule by readily accepting assignments/reassignments. Demonstrates awareness of and commitment to professional and leadership responsibilities. Accepts responsibility for judgments and actions. Supports and participates in departmental goals, educational programs, and QI process. Documents evidence of at least 40 hours of self-development activities with a minimum of 12 formal contact hours.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School or GED Experience:
Two (2) years' Surgical Technologist experience.
Licensure:
Registered Surgical Technologist in the state of VA.
Certification:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) via NCCT. Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience:
Surgical Technologist experience in Ortho, Trauma, Neuro, Robotics, preferred.
