Knowledge of procedures and techniques in administering and providing basic patient care services. Knowledge of supplies used in patient care. Knowledge of medical terminology. Understanding of asepsis and sterile techniques to avoid infection of patients and self or contamination of equipment and supplies. Basic knowledge of keyboarding and computer operations.

Physical Demands:

Ability to speak and hear for effective communication. Visual acuity and manual dexterity. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, push, pull, and position patients and equipment. Long hours without breaks may be required
