Full Job Description Job Title:
Ultrasonographer Reports to:
Administrator/Lab Director Type of Position:
Full-time Purpose and Essential Duties (to include, but not limited to) : The employee will be responsible for assisting in providing quality care and service to patients during a fast paced clinic and after where applicable. He/she should have the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality and accurate work with strong multi-tasking abilities.
Duties are as follows:
Patient care; follow OSHA and MVS recommended safety policies while patient is in your care. Adhere to Policy and Procedures for scanning, reporting and communication of results in all testing areas:
Peripheral Venous Duplex Peripheral Arterial:
Duplex and Physiological Abdominal Duplex Extra cranial Duplex Assist physician/nurse with in office patient care Patient transport - Endovascular suite and hospital Inventory management Additional Administrative Responsibilities/Requirements (to include, but not limited to) : Assist in collation of paperwork Restocking and cleaning treatment rooms Assist in rescheduling patients Other administrative duties assisting with patient and office flow. Take initiative and look for opportunities to assist patients, family members, and colleagues. Maintain and uphold a high standard of professionalism in appearance and disposition with physicians, colleagues, patients, and family members I verify that I have received a copy of my job description and understand my job responsibilities.
