Job Description

Overview The Non-Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of specialized technical tasks in Diagnostic Sonography. They will utilize Ultrasound to assist medical and professional personnel in detecting anatomical abnormalities while complying with Conway Regional Health System policies and procedures. Through documentation and oral communication, essential information is shared with professional/technical health care personnel. The will be responsible for verifying orders, charging procedures, working knowledge of PACS system, and transport of patients with all necessary paperwork completed. This position is a designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services. Qualifications
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Complete 12 months of Ultrasound Technology School Must obtain ARDMS certification within six months post-graduation Successful completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers prior to completion of orientation Aggression management training prior to completion of orientation
