This contract opportunity is designed for skilled Ultrasound Technologists/Sonographers who are passionate about patient care and diagnostics. Working alongside a collaborative clinical team, you'll perform and analyze a variety of general ultrasound studies, helping deliver crucial information to support patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
ARDMS certification (or equivalent) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program At least one year of current experience in General Ultrasound imaging Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and related technology Current BLS certification Detail-oriented with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Operate ultrasound equipment to perform high-quality general abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies as ordered Accurately document and record findings in patient charts and electronic medical records Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide diagnostic insights Maintain clean and well-functioning equipment, and monitor supply inventory Ensure patient comfort, consent, and safety throughout procedures Adhere to all infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols Provide patient education regarding the ultrasound process, as needed This assignment offers you the chance to work in an environment that values clinical excellence, professional integrity, and quality patient care.
