Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technician to join our specialized medical team here at Unified Health Care. In this role, you will perform diagnostic vascular examinations, interact directly with patients, and support efficient daily clinic operations. The ideal candidate blends technical expertise in vascular sonography with strong patient care and administrative capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Imaging:

Conduct high-quality arterial and venous ultrasounds, Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) tests, and related vascular studies according to established clinical protocols.

Patient Care & Flow:

Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and addressing concerns; manage patient check-in and check-out to maintain an efficient appointment flow.

Schedule & Record Preparation:

Review daily schedules in advance, prepare necessary paperwork prior to visits, and maintain accurate, regulatory-compliant patient records.

Equipment & Quality Assurance:

Operate sonography equipment safely, optimize image quality, and participate in continuous quality assurance initiatives.

Clinical Collaboration:

Work alongside healthcare providers to review image findings and assist in delivering accurate diagnostic outcomes.

Qualifications:

Certification:

Active RDMS or RVT national certification required.

Education:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.

Experience:

2+ years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technician preferred.

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics, paired with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
