Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled ultrasound technologist specializing in general and vascular imaging. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging expertise, supporting clinical teams with high-quality sonographic services. This contract position requires commitment to a fixed overnight schedule and periodic weekend on-call responsibilities.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday:

9:00pm-5:30am OR 10:00pm-6:30am Weekend on-call: Backup call every fourth weekend

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years' professional experience in general and vascular ultrasound (excluding ABIs and segmental pressure studies) Proficient in all general and vascular sonographic techniques Current ARDMS certification required Valid and active BLS certification from the American Heart Association Strong interpersonal skills and ability to perform independently during overnight hours Commitment to delivering accurate, empathetic patient care in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality general and vascular ultrasound exams as ordered by providers Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes and answer questions Adjust and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnosis Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient management Accurately document procedures and maintain records in accordance with facility protocols Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout scheduled and on-call duties If you are an experienced ultrasound technologist who excels in overnight shifts and values precision and patient care, we welcome your application.
