Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Advance your career as an Ultrasound Technologist, utilizing your imaging expertise to provide exceptional diagnostic support in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact, working with a dedicated medical team and state-of-the-art equipment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent Current ARDMS certification (or eligibility to obtain upon hire) Recent experience in General Ultrasound imaging Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols Excellent interpersonal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Primary Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound imaging procedures to assist providers in diagnosing and treating patients Explain procedures clearly and professionally to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety Operate ultrasound machines and related imaging equipment, maintaining accuracy and high standards of care Review images for quality and completeness, documenting findings in the electronic medical record Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to discuss preliminary findings or address additional imaging needs Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain examination rooms to meet regulatory standards Participate in continuing education and professional development You will thrive in a supportive clinical environment where your expertise is valued and growth is encouraged.
