Job Description

Overview This is a PRN Position. Performs echocardiograms on adult and pediatric inpatient/outpatients.
Qualifications Education :
GED or High School Diploma.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Skills/Experience:
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics. Excellent interpersonal skills and customer/patient service, problem solving, time management and organizational skill, be a team player, excellent communication skills including telephone etiquette. Ability to recognize life-threatening findings and notify physicians. Ability to calculate test results. Uses good body mechanics. Maintain patient confidentiality. Serves as patient advocate. Good organizational skills basic computer data entry
Required License/Certification:
BLS certification from the American Heart Association CCI or ARDMS required within one (1) year of hire or transfer date.
