Loyola Medical Center, Maywood, IL Use your ultrasound expertise to support early detection and life-changing care-join the Breast Imaging and General Ultrasound team at Loyola Medicine. About the Role We are seeking an experienced ARDMS -registered Ultrasound Technologist to join our imaging team. Under the general supervision of an attending radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols, the Ultrasound Technologist utilizes high-frequency sound waves and advanced diagnostic techniques to produce high-quality ultrasound images. These images support accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care across General Ultrasound and Breast Imaging services. Areas of Coverage + General Ultrasound + Breast Imaging, including: + Breast ultrasound-guided biopsies + Diagnostic mammography ultrasound + Whole Breast Ultrasound Here is what you'll need
Required:
+ ARDMS -registered Ultrasound + Associate Degree; graduate from an accredited two-year Ultrasound Program, required; OR equivalent training acquired via work experience + Specific Degree(s): AMA approved Sonography program; + Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) approved school of Ultrasound Technology + Less than one year of previous job-related experience + rotation with a minimum of 1,680 total hours from an accredited program
Licensure/Certifications Required:
+ CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) from American Heart Association ONLY + Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer ( RDMS )-Specialization in
Abdomen, Ob/Gyn or PS Other:

Pay Range:
$39.00 - $59.00 per hour Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
