Overview The Imaging Manager manages clinical operations of specific areas of the Imaging Department including, but not limited to, equipment, personnel, scheduling, financial and customer service functions.

Related field Responsibilities Manage and direct the daily operation of assigned areas and staff. Develop and foster collaboration among clinical departments and affiliated services to ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to providing Imaging services and resolution of customer complaints or problems. Collaborate with physicians and staff to resolve problems and provide advice concerning technical procedures, techniques, and equipment. Assumes responsibility for personnel related duties that include interviewing, disciplinary actions, payroll reporting, scheduling paid leave, and enforcing required rules and regulations. Monitors employee performance and ensures timely communications for the purpose of goal setting, performance evaluations, wages increases and continued personnel actions. Ensure that all employees are properly oriented, trained, and that annual competencies, certifications, and licensure and education requirements are current. Ensure that all personnel are properly trained on equipment and competent in its use. Develops budget recommendations and monitors budget activities Manages X-ray, CT, and MRI professionals Oversees operational budget for X-ray, CT, and MRI Oversees capital equipment purchases for X-ray, CT, and MRI Develops best practices with radiologist and interdisciplinary assistance for X-ray, CT, and MRI Monitors quality and dose reduction initiatives in X-ray and CT About Us Find it here.
