Andover, KS Job Details Full-time 2 days ago Qualifications BLS Certification Echocardiography equipment Vascular technology diagnostics Vascular ultrasound machine Peripheral vascular system Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Full Job Description Kansas Medical Center (KMC) is adding a Full-time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with multi-specialty experience to complete our valuable team! Echocardiography with Vascular experience required . Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program required. Graduate of a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) preferred but not required. Bachelor of Science Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desired but not required. Certification issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. One to two years of similar experience required. Kansas Medical Center (KMC) is a fully physician owned 58 inpatient bed hospital that opened in 2006. KMC offers services in a wide array of specialties for both inpatient and outpatient services.
The main campus has:
Six operating rooms Two procedure rooms Two Cath Labs Intermediate care for preoperative and postoperative patients Three inpatient nursing units: Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Intensive Care, along with Emergency Room Services Outpatient services including: X-ray, CT, MRI, PET, PT, Lab, and Cardiac Rehab In addition to our main campus, KMC operates: Three Family Practice clinics located in Andover and Derby Cardiology Clinic located in East Wichita Multiple Cardiology Outreach Clinics throughout the state of Kansas
