Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I MaineHealth parental leave United States, Maine, Brunswick 123 Medical Center Drive (Show on map) May 13, 2026 Description Mid Coast Hospital Professional - Clinical Req #: 60645
Summary:
Join a collaborative team of sonographers in the heart of Mid-coast Maine. Our Brunswick location offers a community-focused, patient-centered environment where teamwork comes first! You will perform a mix of AB, OB/GYN, Breast and vascular exams while working closely with a supportive, team-oriented group. This position includes shared call rotation. The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I performs routine ultrasound procedures under supervision. Follows established protocols. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Graduate of an approved school of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience
License/Certifications:
Current American Registry of Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification required. Must have completed the required Physics registry. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
Experience:
No experience necessary; six months of Diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.
