Full Job Description Duration:
On-Going Contract Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 4:30 PM (40 Hours/Week)
Key Responsibilities:
• The Echosonographers are to be competent and qualified per this performance work statement and adequately trained to perform assigned duties.
•
Direct Patient Care:
The VA anticipates that the contracted Echosonographers serving under this contract will spend an estimated 90% of their time involved in direct patient care.
•
Scope of Care:
The Contractor's Echosonographers,shall be responsible for providing:
•
Patient Care :
Preparing and positioning patients for Echosonography procedures. Including explaining the procedure and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
•
Equipment Operation :
Selecting appropriate imaging techniques, calibrating and adjusting lab equipment, and operating the laboratory equipment to produce high-quality images.
•
Image Quality Assurance :
Reviewing and verifying the quality of images, ensuring they meet the required standards for diagnostic purposes, and communicating with providers for further evaluation.

Clinic Responsibilities :
Contractor's Echosonographers shall be present on time for scheduled shift start times as documented by physical presence in the clinic at the scheduled start time.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 year of experience as an Echosonographer, Cardiac Sonographer, or in a related echocardiography role. Must hold a current echocardiography certification from one of the following: CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
•RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer), OR ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
•RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer). BLS certificate. Must be fully trained and competent to perform all services required under the contract. About our
