Job Description
This is a PRN position Must be proficient in all types of sonograms for our pregnant patient population (first, second and third trimesters including anatomy study at or around gestational 20 weeks). Must be able to perform pelvic ultrasounds, IUD placement surveillance, assist physicians in performing ultrasound guided procedures, as well as other GYN, abdominal and pelvic scans. Obtain appropriate images that clearly demonstrate ultrasound findings in accordance with specified protocols and accreditation standards. Consistently and accurately complete documentation pertinent to the ultrasound examination utilizing our EMR system. Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding ultrasound findings in a concise, complete and accurate manner. Possess a respectful demeanor and a positive approach with patients and staff members. Ability to function independently. Certification a must.
