Job Description

Ultrasound Sonographer Full Time for a Busy Multi-Department Clinic, located in Burlington, NC. Kernodle Clinic is a respected and progressive multi-specialty group practice with Clinics in Burlington, Mebane and Elon. We are a community leader that offers challenging and rewarding opportunities for our employees. Kernodle Clinic is a multi-specialty practice with approximately 100 Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers located just off
I-40/I-85.
Burlington is accessible as a day trip to NC mountains and beaches. Ample recreational activities, shopping, and easy access to metros (Greensboro, Raleigh and Durham) are unique to Burlington. We are currently seeking patient-focused individual for a Ultrasound Sonographer position within our OB/GYN Department. Experience preferred, but not required. EPIC experience a plus, but not required. Schedule for the position would require 5 days/week (Monday thru Friday). All candidates must be graduates of an accredited Ultrasound Imaging program with current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and current CPR certification.

Full-time Duties Include, but not limited to the following: Performs various diagnostic gynecologic and obstetric ultrasounds including, routine, mid-trimester and guidance for amniocentesis. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of obstetric and gynecological pathology. Properly notes abnormal pathology and conditions as necessary. Uses proper techniques to ensure quality studies. Analyze patient medical record to obtain history of symptoms and necessary information for performance of procedure. Prepare preliminary reports for review and to be interpreted by physician Identifies patient prior to testing using double identifiers.
