1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Technologist for a Peripheral Vascular Lab requiring 4+ years of experience and vascular certification. Details Peripheral Vascular Lab setting Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM 40 hours per week, 5 days per week No on-call requirements No weekend requirements Must be able to work holidays if needed Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience required, dedicated vascular technologist experience preferred BLS certification required One of the following required: RDCS (ARDMS), RVT (ARDMS), RCS, ACS, or RCCS (CCI) Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related field, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program License required if applicable Additional Information Perform vascular ultrasound evaluations with Doppler and physiologic testing Write preliminary reports and communicate acute findings to the care team Obtain pertinent patient health history prior to examination Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use, ensuring timely turnover between procedures Troubleshoot equipment issues and report problems to the appropriate supervisor May provide staff training and education
