Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts/ No weekends Job Summary A Breast Sonographer is responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound imaging of the breast to assist physicians in diagnosing and evaluating breast conditions. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care, especially when working with patients undergoing diagnostic evaluations. Key Responsibilities

• Perform breast ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Review and evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic value.
• Assist radiologists during interventional procedures such as biopsies when required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Provide patient education and address concerns with empathy and professionalism Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography must be registered in breast sonography through ARDMS or ARRT or willing to obtain it within 90 days.

Proficiency in general X-ray and fluoroscopy One should have extensive experience in an outpatient setting. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Education & Certification Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field ARRT certification required Active North Carolina state radiologic technologist license required CA02

Pay:

$36.00 - $49.00 per hour
