The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing echocardiograms and vascular studies, ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging for patient care. This role requires a deep understanding of sonographic procedures and patient interaction, along with a strong commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform vascular studies using advanced ultrasound equipment Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations to capture images of various body parts or systems Maintain precise and accurate patient records and documentation of all procedures performed Collaborate with healthcare professionals to analyze, interpret, and discuss ultrasound images for diagnostic evaluation Follow established protocols and guidelines for performing sonographic examinations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards Keep ultrasound equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience as a Sonographer, specializing in vascular studies Strong proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, with expertise in diagnostic evaluation Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and the ability to interpret results Ability to assess and monitor patient conditions during procedures Completion of an accredited Sonography program RVT or equivalent certification required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a healthcare team
