Schedule/Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm No weekend rotation No on-call duties Holiday coverage as needed Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved
Essential Qualifications:
Over 1 year of experience as Echo Tech or Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer; first-time travelers welcome BLS certified ARDMS-RDCS or
CCI-RCIS
(accepted) Graduate of accredited cardiac ultrasound program preferred Proficient in adult transthoracic echocardiography, contrast studies, Doppler and color flow imaging Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Phillips EPIQ ultrasound equipment (preferred) Able to work with adult inpatients, ED, and outpatient populations Strong independent working skills and effective time management
Key Responsibilities:
Perform 4-8 echoes per day for adult inpatient, emergency, and outpatient cases Apply knowledge of contrast-enhanced studies, Doppler, and color flow imaging Maintain documentation and patient records using EPIC and
ISCV PACS
Participate in initial scanning competency and receive department orientation Provide mentoring to fellow Echo Techs as needed Possibly float to other nearby facilities per departmental needs
