Category Imaging - Ultrasound Vascular Job Type Contract Advance your ultrasound expertise as a valued imaging professional, providing exceptional vascular and general sonography services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a collaborative clinical team dedicated to delivering high-quality diagnostic care to patients.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (RVT, RDMS, or equivalent) required Demonstrated expertise in vascular ultrasound protocols, including venous and arterial imaging Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment and PACS Thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to sonography Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to comfort and educate patients Adherence to safety, privacy, and infection control standards Experience in a fast-paced hospital or imaging center setting is preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive vascular and general ultrasound examinations independently Analyze sonographic findings and provide preliminary reports to radiologists or referring physicians Accurately document patient history, procedure details, and technical factors in the electronic medical record system Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness of ultrasound equipment, accessories, and work stations Support patient care by explaining procedures, positioning individuals properly, and monitoring for adverse reactions Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless workflow Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to keep skills current

The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
