This contract role presents the opportunity to utilize advanced sonography technology to support accurate diagnoses and positive patient outcomes.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification (or equivalent) Proven experience in performing general ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, and small parts studies Ability to assess and adjust sonographic equipment for optimal imaging quality Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills Exceptional interpersonal communication for working with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of general ultrasound exams based on physician orders, ensuring quality diagnostic images Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for each procedure Accurately document patient information and maintain records of imaging studies Collaborate with radiologists and other medical personnel to relay significant findings Maintain imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions or issues as needed Educate patients about the procedure to ensure understanding and ease Uphold infection control and patient safety protocols at all times This role offers the chance to work alongside dedicated healthcare professionals while advancing your skills in a supportive environment.
