Our rapidly growing network spans OB/GYN physicians, breast health centers, high-risk pregnancy centers, two laboratories, urogynecology care, and fertility centers. Together, Axia Women's Health puts women first by delivering the personalized care needed for women to lead healthier, happier lives. We are currently recruiting an experienced Sonographer to join our AIUM accredited care center as a PRN staff in East Brunswick Piscataway and Edison locations . The Sonographer will perform ultrasounds for standard and High Risk OB Cases and GYN.
Hours:
PRN varied days per week 8-5:00 pm (but could be earlier or later depending on schedule)
Ultrasound Scanning:
Performs routine, diagnostic, gynecological, and obstetric ultrasound examinations .
Patient Care:
Interacts with medical staff to ensure safe, high-quality care; positions patients; and explains procedures for optimal results .
Clinical Protocols:
Adheres to established protocols, infection control standards, and proper probe handling .
Operational Support:
equipment maintenance, and supply inventory .
Documentation & Service:
Maintains records and reports while providing flexible, responsive customer service .
Additional Duties:
Performs other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience performing Obstetrical and GYN scanning. Degree/certificate from an accredited ultrasound program. Current RDMS, NT and CPR certifications. Perinatal experience. Knowledge of CPT coding and eClinicalWorks (EMR) are beneficial.
Pay or shift range:
$37 USD to $45 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
