This contract opportunity allows you to contribute your expertise and technical skill as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer, ensuring accurate imaging results for improved patient care.
Qualifications:
Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent credential required Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols Hands-on experience as an Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer in a clinical setting Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff Thorough understanding of patient safety standards and HIPAA regulations Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of sonographic imaging procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, vascular, and small parts as needed Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to provide comprehensive imaging results Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring all safety and quality controls are met Position and instruct patients for optimal imaging, prioritizing comfort and accuracy Recognize and report abnormalities or significant findings to the appropriate medical staff Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with facility guidelines This contract position is ideal for an adaptable imaging professional looking to make a tangible difference in a collaborative and supportive healthcare setting.
