Job Description
Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic imaging environment specializing in general ultrasound within a supportive healthcare setting. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams and play a key role in patient care.
Qualifications:
Certified in Ultrasound Technology/Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent) Demonstrated experience in general ultrasound imaging procedures Ability to operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for imaging High attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate exam records Current BLS certificationResponsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders and facility protocols Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort throughout Analyze images, provide technical quality assessments, and collaborate with radiologists for accurate interpretation Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal operation Document patient history, procedures, and results accurately in the medical record system Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and confidentiality standards at all times Assist other team members and contribute to a collaborative clinical environmentBenefits:
