Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled GYN Sonography Technician (GYN Sono Tech) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Conduct detailed gynecological ultrasound scans, including ovarian and uterine evaluations Utilize advanced medical imaging equipment to produce clear, precise images for diagnostic purposes Apply comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology to identify normal and abnormal findings during examinations Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety and infection control Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and provide compassionate care Collaborate with physicians and radiologists by preparing accurate reports and discussing imaging findings Follow established protocols for patient positioning, equipment calibration, and documentation of procedures Qualifications Proven experience in gynecological sonography is highly preferred Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to obstetrics and gynecology Proficiency in sonography techniques and medical imaging technology Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles applicable to ultrasound imaging Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration Ability to adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all procedures Familiarity with patient care practices specific to obstetric and gynecological populations Job hours Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays The position will require you to work Babylon, Bay Shore, and or Patchogue Join our team as a GYN Sono Tech where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes!
