Summary:

The Sonographer, under the direction of a radiologist and imaging leadership, with minimum supervision, must maintain the daily function of the Ultrasound department, performing a variety of Ultrasound procedures.

Experience:

Minimum of one year preferred as a Sonographer.

Education:

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, AAS degree preferred, and Graduation from an unaccredited Sonographer program or Graduation from an accredited Sonographer program.

Licenses:

Certificate required: ARRT(R)(S) or ARDMS required within 12 months of hire For ACR Accredited sites at time of hire: ARRT(R)(S) or

ARDMS Essential Functions:

Performs US procedures using proper Radiologist protocols and standard workflows based on annual competencies.
