Full-Time or Part-Time Travel Required Between Practice Locations Position Overview A growing multidisciplinary medical practice is seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our vascular team. The technologist will perform high-quality vascular diagnostic ultrasound examinations at multiple practice locations throughout New York City and Long Island. This position requires regular travel between our offices in Forest Hills, Great Neck, Brooklyn, and the Bronx . Candidates must be comfortable working independently, maintaining efficient patient flow, and providing accurate diagnostic studies for physician interpretation. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations, including: Venous reflux studies Venous duplex/DVT studies Lower-extremity arterial duplex studies Carotid duplex examinations ABI/PVR testing when applicable Other vascular studies as ordered Obtain accurate measurements and high-quality diagnostic images. Identify and document abnormal vascular findings. Prepare preliminary findings and supporting documentation for physician review. Review patient history and relevant clinical information prior to examinations. Properly position and educate patients regarding procedures. Maintain ultrasound equipment and report technical issues when necessary. Maintain accurate and complete documentation in the electronic medical record. Follow infection-control, patient-safety, HIPAA, and practice protocols. Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative personnel. Travel between practice locations based on the weekly clinical schedule. Qualifications Previous vascular ultrasound experience is required. Strong experience performing venous and arterial vascular studies. RVT, RVS, or equivalent vascular credential strongly preferred. ARDMS certification preferred. Knowledge of venous insufficiency and reflux testing strongly preferred. Experience working in a vascular, interventional radiology, cardiology, or multidisciplinary medical practice is a plus. Strong understanding of vascular anatomy and ultrasound protocols. Ability to work independently and produce consistently high-quality studies. Excellent patient-care and communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Reliable transportation and ability to travel between practice locations required. Practice Locations The technologist may be scheduled at any of our locations: Forest Hills, Queens Great Neck, Long Island Brooklyn Bronx Applicants should be willing and able to travel between locations as needed. Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience, credentials, availability, and vascular ultrasound expertise. Full-time and part-time candidates may be considered. Pay:
$40.00 - $60.00 per hour
