Key Qualifications:

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or eligible. Demonstrated proficiency in general ultrasound procedures (abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, etc.). Current BLS certification required. Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer in a clinical or hospital setting. Strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with maintaining imaging equipment, following safety protocols, and adhering to quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct general ultrasound examinations as ordered by referring providers, producing clear, accurate diagnostic images. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and answering questions to ensure comfort and cooperation. Evaluate images for quality, completeness, and any technical issues prior to submission to radiologists. Assist physicians during guided procedures as necessary. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with facility policies. Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and troubleshoot minor malfunctions as needed. Comply with infection control, safety, and patient privacy standards at all times.
