Assignment is travel-based; exact schedule/hours will be tailored to facility needs
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Certification as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent) Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging across a range of patient anatomies Familiarity with current ultrasound technology and diagnostic protocols Previous experience in a hospital or medical facility setting preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure quality patient care Ability to adapt to new clinical workflows and electronic health record systems
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality ultrasound studies as ordered by physicians Prepare and position patients while ensuring their comfort and safety Accurately document procedures and maintain equipment functionality Communicate findings to physicians and collaborate with allied health professionals Adhere to all safety, privacy, and infection control standards Respond flexibly to workload demands and assist with other imaging tasks as needed
