Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging in a dynamic healthcare environment. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you'll use your expertise to assist clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring precise and compassionate care throughout each exam. Key Responsibilities:
Operate ultrasound equipment to perform general imaging procedures as ordered by physicians Prepare patients for procedures, explaining each step to ensure comfort and cooperation Capture clear, accurate images and identify abnormalities for physician review Maintain detailed and organized patient records in compliance with facility protocols Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff for optimal workflow and diagnostic quality Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness of all imaging equipment Adhere to safety and infection control standards at all times
Schedule:
Contract-based assignment; specific hours and duration will be discussed during the interview process
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Ultrasound Technology Current certification (ARDMS or equivalent) in General Ultrasound At least one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer in a clinical setting Proficient in general ultrasound imaging, with a solid understanding of anatomy and pathology Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Join a respected healthcare team and play an essential role in patient care.
