Join Our Team at Avita Health System Avita Ontario HospitalAvita Health System is proud to serve the communities of Crawford and Richland counties through three hospitals and numerous clinic locations. Over the past few years, weve tripled in size, now employing over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners. Were currently seeking a dedicated Echo Technologist to join our Cardiology Department at our Ontario location.
Position OverviewProvides and performs a variety of cardiac diagnostics as prescribed by physicians to a wide variety of patients ranging in age from neonates to geriatrics (some of whom may be in a critical or life-threatening state). Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtains measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualizes blood flow. Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures.
One to two years of ultrasound experience in echocardiography.
ARDCS or CCI certification.

QualificationsRequired:
Current BLS certification.One to two years of ultrasound experience in echocardiography.
Preferred:
Licensed as an Ultrasound Tech.ARDCS or CCI certification.
