This role involves traveling within a designated geographic area to perform general and vascular ultrasound scans for patients residing in healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary licensure, certifications, and expertise to conduct examinations independently and with precision. This position requires professionalism, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Why Choose Mobile Imaging? Check out more about our medical services and company here! www.principlehs.com Full-time, permanent role Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm OR Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00am-8:00pm (open to a 3x12 or 3x13 schedule; flexible on start/end times) Must be willing to travel to cover assigned territory in/around Oklahoma City Hourly pay based on experience and tenure Paid training provided, company vehicle/gas card, and all equipment for use Mobile position traveling to different skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and patient homes within an assigned territory Competitive benefits offered for full-time positions (health, vision, dental, 3 weeks PTO, 9 paid holidays ,and matching 401k!)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care and Ultrasound Examinations Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and answer any questions they may have. Perform general and vascular ultrasound scans to assess and identify areas of concern. Notify appropriate medical staff immediately of any abnormalities requiring urgent attention. Equipment Maintenance and Reporting Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or issues. Upload completed studies into the online PACS system and accurately mark records as complete. Documentation and Communication Prepare clear and concise technical impression reports summarizing findings. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all examination results. Work Environment and Collaboration Manage multiple patients efficiently while adapting to a fast-paced environment. Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with team members as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Minimum of 1 year of scanning experience (2-3 years preferred). ARDMS (Abdomen or Vascular) certification preferred. Ability to perform a variety of general and vascular examinations. Comfortable writing a technical impression of each finding.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods while performing patient services. Comfortable driving for extended stretches to various patient locations up to 200+ miles per day. Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under high-stress situations. Flexibility to adapt to scheduling changes and varying patient needs.
