- PM Vascular Surgery 538 N Queen St. Lancaster PA 17603, Penn Vascular Surgery Ephrata 1261 Division Highway, Suite 2, Ephrata , PA 17522, Penn Medicine The Heart Group of Lancaster Health 217 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17603
SCHEDULE
- Full time (40 hours per week), M-F from 8a-5p, no weekends, no on-call, no holidays.
POSITION SUMMARY
- The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- + Perform all diagnostic Ultrasound procedures through proper technique selection according to department policy and procedure.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- + HS Diploma or GED + Graduation from an accredited program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography + Completion of required classroom hours and material required to take the ARDMS Abdomen, Physics, and OB/GYN registry exams.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
- + 2 years Diagnostic Medical Sonographer + Certified by the ARDMS (American Registry of Medical Sonographers) in and Vascular Technology (RVT).
