Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Step into a high-impact role performing critical imaging services in a supportive healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is perfect for an experienced professional skilled in cardiac imaging, specifically as an Echo Tech. Utilize advanced echocardiography techniques to provide physicians with essential diagnostic insights, contributing directly to patient well-being.
Key Qualifications:
Proficiency in echocardiography and related imaging modalities Completion of an accredited sonography or cardiovascular technology program Current registry with ARDMS or CCI (cardiac sonography preferred) Prior experience as an Echo Tech in a clinical or hospital setting Familiarity with imaging equipment and digital reporting systems Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams Attention to detail and a commitment to quality imagingResponsibilities:
Perform comprehensive echocardiograms, including M-mode, 2D, Doppler, and color flow studies Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with care and professionalism Accurately capture, analyze, and document cardiac images according to physician protocols Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other staff to ensure seamless patient care Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to safety and infection control protocols Participate in workflow efficiency, scheduling, and timely reporting of results Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and medical guidelinesBenefits:
