Description:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS/RVT/RDCS) (Call Only) We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS/RVT/RDCS) to join our Newberry Health team in our on-call only position. On-call hours are Monday -Monday 7pm-7am . This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced sonographers to contribute to patient care in a dynamic medical environment, providing essential diagnostic imaging services with flexibility and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various specialties, including obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal, vascular, and other areas as required. Accurately operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for interpretation by physicians. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and support. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of procedures and findings. Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Participate in on-call duties, responding promptly to imaging requests as scheduled.
Requirements:
Proven experience in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations. Strong knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and pathology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a call-only, PRN capacity. Flexibility to respond to call requests promptly and adapt to varying schedules. Current CPR certification and compliance with all healthcare regulations. Applicant must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMA) with Vascular experience (RVT)/CCI (RVS).
