Job Summary Join our healthcare team as a full-time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN). In this role, you will provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging to support the evaluation and care of patients. The ideal candidate is an experienced, compassionate sonographer who is confident performing obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations, communicates effectively with patients and providers, and is committed to accurate, high-quality imaging.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

•Hourly rate will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications

•Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in obstetrics and gynecology, following established protocols and standards of care. Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a professional and caring demeanor. Accurately document findings using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret images and relay critical findings promptly. Maintain patient safety and follow appropriate infection-control and aseptic techniques. Maintain proficiency in ultrasound technology, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to OB/GYN imaging. Reliable attendance and punctuality is required. Qualifications and Skills ARDMS certification in OB/GYN Experience in performing OB/GYN ultrasound examinations is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecologic anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and the ability to obtain accurate, diagnostic-quality images. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure clear understanding of procedures and findings. Experience in using EMR/EHR systems for accurate clinical documentation. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and health care members. Knowledge of patient safety, infection-control, and appropriate aseptic techniques. Ability to provide quality, compassionate care across diverse populations.
