Time Location:
Waco, TX, and surrounding areas Job Overview National Mobile X-Ray is a full-service mobile radiology provider offering X-rays, EKGs, and Ultrasounds throughout Texas. We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team in Waco, TX. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to assist with patient diagnosis and treatment. This role involves driving a company vehicle to long-term care facilities across the region to perform mobile ultrasounds. The position requires a strong understanding of medical imaging, patient care, and effective communication with patients and medical staff. This is a part-time position on weekends and some weekdays•2-10s-or 2-12s weekends•Saturday and Sunday. Applicants must be proficient in scanning the abdomen, small parts, and vascular exams.
Requirements:
Current Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record Current ARDMS (RVT/AB) certification or eligibility for RVT•RVT or RVS certification or eligibility to sit for the registry Must have Vascular experience or clinical experience in vascular. Accredited school for Ultrasound in Vascular Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment•Capture high-quality images of internal body structures for diagnostic purposes. Utilize medical imaging knowledge to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. Maintain an aseptic technique to ensure patient safety during procedures•Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and ensuring comfort. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques to enhance practice.
