Why join the team We have a robust team of 11 doctors, 40 veterinary assistants, 12 registered veterinary technicians, 14 receptionists, 11 kennel assistants, 3 janitorial team members, a dedicated pharmacy assistant, and 5 members of management.

Facilities/technology:

7 exam rooms, an overnight sleeping room, digital radiographs, dental radiographs, ligasure, ultrasound, 2 oxygen chambers, a dedicated surgical suite, a dedicated dental suite, we offer boarding services Hands-free radiology strongly encouraged AAHA accredited Board certified cardiologist, criticalists, and dermatologists that visit our clinic at least once per month seeing cases. VCA Bakersfield has been in operations since 1929. Opportunity to see a large variety of cases as VCA Bakersfield is the only 24/7 emergency hospital in the area Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship Schedule Full-Time, Part-Time, Rotating (put specifics if you have a specific one to fill) Overnights, swings, and weekends.

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
